This "movie" (less than one minute) is considered the first movie in history and the beginning of cinema. It shows the workers of the Lumiére Factory in Lyon going out from work.
It was projected by the Lumière Brothers in 1895 in Paris to show the cinematographer they created inspired in Thomas Edison kinetoscope. They also filmed the arrival of a train at the station in the same year.
But this is not true, there was a previous film made by Louis Le Prince in 1888 called "Roundhay garden scene", filmed in Leeds (England) two years before Edison created the first prototype of projector.
